Midsumma Festival 2027 itself runs 17 January to 7 February. Pride March is the St Kilda street day inside that window. Do not confuse it with Victoria's Pride Street Party, which is a Gertrude Street and Smith Street, Fitzroy event, not a St Kilda one. Last year's date is not this year's date. - Trams 16 and 12 skip or crawl the strip. Walk the last stop if packed.
- Usually open: Acland Street, as overflow cake queue, not the march.
- Afters lawn: Catani Gardens. Toilets there and at Sea Baths before the lawn fills.

Do not park on Fitzroy Street or the Gate 10 corner. Midsumma's participation notes flag Beaconsfield Parade, Marine Parade, and Jacka Boulevard closures between the usual Kerferd-end checkpoints. A car left in the funnel will not be there when you come back.

Traders along Fitzroy Street and Acland Street usually stay open and run Pride specials. Treat 1pm as a write-off for a booked table. Treat 5pm as the afters sitting. The Victorian Pride Centre at 79-81 Fitzroy Street is the year-round building on the strip, not the march itself. Luna Pride at Luna Park is a separate paid night on a different date. How do I get there?
Tram 16 and tram 12 are the Fitzroy Street trams. Tram 96 serves Acland and stop 138 if you are peeling off to the beach end. There is no St Kilda train station. Where are the toilets, and where do I eat?
Public toilets sit at Catani Gardens and Sea Baths. Use them before 2pm. The lawn after-party is the crush. Bring water. Shade is limited on Fitzroy Street itself. The conversion surface after the march is Fitzroy Street. The Espy sits one block over on The Esplanade if Catani is the after-party. Book nothing that needs a 1pm sit-down. Cake overflow on Acland is a walk, not a closure.
How is this different from St Kilda Festival?
Pride March is one Sunday in late January. St Kilda Festival is a separate mid-February weekend with a much larger tow-away precinct. Festival 2027 is 20 to 21 February.
